| Clarity is most important on all diamond jewelry, especially on Diamond Studs. At Sky Facet our clarity on our diamond studs range from: SI (Slightly Included) to VVS (Very Very Slightly Included). The higher the clarity grade the higher its purity level and the rarer the diamond. The shape of the diamond is very important, when considering what clarity grade you'd like to decide on. Round and princess cut diamonds we suggest SI to VS clarity, because inclusions are well hidden and cannot be seen by the untrained eye. For asscher and emerald cut diamonds we suggest a minimum of VS clarity and above, for inclusions are easily seen because of its step cut faceting and larger center table. |
Diamond Stud Earrings - Diamond Color Grade: |
| Color is equally as important as clarity (you don't want a flawless stone with a yellow or even brown tint to it!). At Sky Facet our diamond stud earrings range from near colorless and goes up to the colorless category (where diamonds are graded as "F", "E", or "D" which is the highest within the color grades). For the round and princess cut diamond stud earrings we recommend at least an "I" color diamond in order to have no visible coloring on your diamond stud earring. For shapes such as the asscher or emerald cut stud earrings, we recommend at least an "H" colored diamond in order to have no visible coloring.. |
