There are a wide variety of materials that can be used for men's wedding bands. One is palladium. Palladium is a very inexpensive material; about half of platinum's price as well as lighter. Palladium graded 950 is usually the type available for wedding bands that are made of the material.

On the other hand, there is also sterling silver. This is one of the metals most commonly chosen by couples because like gold, it is also elegant but lower in price. Silver does not rust or fade over time as well.

Last but not the least is gold. Gold is one of the most expensive metals on earth. However, it is also one of the most precious as well as one of the most elegant-looking of all metals used for wedding bands. There are two types of gold available for men's wedding bands and these are the white and yellow gold. Regardless of type, both metals are graded at 18 karats.
