Palladium wedding bands have a purity rate of 95% meaning that only 5% of ruthenium is used for palladium wedding bands. 18k white gold wedding bands only have a purity rate of 75% pure gold the rest of its 25% are different alloys mixed in. Palladium wedding bands have a natural white color that will not tarnish white gold wedding bands are rhodium treated to have a shiny white look that will eventually fade away and show its natural yellowish white color.
